Happy Mother’s day (UK)

I know not everyone in the world celebrates mother’s day on the same day. Today’s mumma’s day in the UK. Yeah, I said Mumma, ’cause my girls always called me that when they were little and I loved it.

Whatever you are doing today, I hope you have a lovely day. I’m going to spend some time with, or at least say “Hi” to my mum. It might have to be a socially distanced, “hello’, with no hugs etc, but I can still take her some flowers and show her she matters to me, even though I don’t get to see her much at the moment.

I know how hard this year has been for people who haven’t been able to see their loved ones. And I am beyond sorry for you and your family if you are grieving for someone you have loved and lost; whether that is recently or in the past, it doesn’t always diminish your pain or how much you miss them.

I will be giving my hubby lots of cuddles too since his lovely ‘mumma’ passed away a few years ago now, but the sadness is still real. I miss her too and I know my girls miss their nanna. Anyway, the point of this is to celebrate all the lovely MUMMA’S out there and to remember the ones who are looking down from above.

We love you!
